I currently work at a cold stone. I agree with alot of your statements! Our waffle irons are hardly ever really clean, and we over proportion on purpose because we know our ice cream is way overpriced. we hardly ever charge someone for extra mix ins when they ask.

anddd finally, about the waffle cones in the bathroom- yes, this was extreme (I suppose). and our manager was a total douche rocket so that is probably why it happened the way it happened. However, you would be naive in thinking these types of things didn’t happen at restaurants. most restaurant owners will cut any and all corners to save $.

i don’t know where you’re making waffle cones “all the time” that it’s “fun as hell,” but the fun wears off when you do it for more than like five minutes. secondly, the difficulty of a job is not always proportional to how much you sweat, so that whole argument just kind of lacks any real weight.

My cold stone experience sucked too. I worked at two locations for a total of a little over 2yrs. My owner sucked and he ended up going bankrupt. We weren’t as clean as we could’ve been and your post is somewhat similar to our experiences minus the Waffles in the bathroom (WTF?) and sweat in waffle cones.

Are you sure you worked at a coldstone? Stored wafflecones in the bathrooms? Are you lying? FIrst off why the HELL would they be in the bathrooms. Second of all nobody drips sweat your work isnt that hard I would know I make waffle cones all the time fun as hell. Your supposed to sue gloves the only real way of fucking them up is by burning yourself on the iron.

dude no. your store must have sucked. evrything at ours is clean. and we get raises like every 2-3 months…we throw away any “defective” waffles. our openers clean just fine and the servers at our store usually get fired if they over-proportion all the time. youre probably mad cause you worked under a shitty boss for minimum wage for 2 years. lol i would be too… but then again if i worked there i wouldve quit a long time ago. you must be a pushover.

How the hell did your store pass q visits? the one i work at very strict about sanitation. Waffels are stored under the second stone, and i never sweat at wrk, its always cool there. Like all fanchises, the experience differs from store to store.
